Scott Hume is Executive Managing Editor for Restaurants & Institutions. He first joined the publication in 1977, leaving in 1983 to spend 10 years as Chicago Bureau Chief for Advertising Age and six years as Midwest Editor for Adweek magazine. He rejoined R&I in February 1999. He serves as a member of the Culinary Advisory Board for City Colleges of Chicago.
