Patricia Dailey is Editor-in-Chief for Restaurants & Institutions. Dailey joined R&I as Managing Editor in 1997 and was named Editor-in-Chief in 1998. Prior to joining R&I she was a reporter/writer for the Chicago Tribune. Her foodservice career began at Don Roth’s Blackhawk, where she served as Catering Director and Assistant Manager. Additionally, she was head of the wine training and service programs. She is a member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and past board member; she also served as vice-chair of its Marketing and Communications Committee. Additionally, she is a Fellow of The Culinary Institute of America and sits on its Educational Policy committee; and a Member of HFM’s Industry Advisory Committee. She has written four cookbooks and co-authored or contributed to numerous books on food and cooking.
