Dealer of the Year Award
The FE&S Dealer of the Year award is recognized as the pre-eminent honor in foodservice distribution. This award dates back nearly a quarter of a century and recognizes the industry's most outstanding E&S distributor. After soliciting nominations and input from the industry, the FE&S staff selects the Dealer of the Year based on the fact that the company has:
- Achieved a dominant position in their marketplace
- Earned a track record of participation in and contribution to the industry
- Established a history of progressive management and staff development
- Maintained an unblemished record of integrity
- Developed a reputation for establishing and sustaining win-win relationships with their channel partners
These high standards make this award an honor that recipients cherish throughout their careers, as witnessed by the fact that 10- and 15-year old issues are proudly displayed on past winners' desks.
Each year the magazine features the winner in the FE&S' May cover story. This in-depth, no-holds-barred profile provides the industry with a rare glimpse into the inner workings of one of its shining stars of distribution.
The 2005 Dealer of the Award was presented to The Boelter Companies. The company's remarkable philosophy and culture were cited. The award was presented during the annual Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards Gala.
