Broaster Recognized For Export Program
The Broaster Co., Beloit, Wis., has been awarded the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Achievement Certificate.
The certificate was presented to the firm during a luncheon on Sept. 22. According to William Lash, an officer with the Department of Commerce, Broaster was recognized for its “energetic pursuit of foreign markets and its successful and growing exports.”
According to Broaster, in the past 24 months, the company has penetrated more than 20 new overseas markets. In addition, it has worked with U.S. Commercial Service foreign offices in 11 countries to expand its activities outside the United States.
