Gill Group Announces New Offices & Personnel
The Gill Group Inc., whose Contract division is based in Crofton, Md., has announced the opening of four new offices, three of which are staffed with former employees of U.S. Foodservice’s Contract Design division.
Specifically, The Gill Group has named 27-year industry veteran Brian Maloney vice president/director of National Sales, according to Laura Gill Jacobsen, president of the dealer’s Contract division. Maloney is based in the firm’s new Orlando, Fla., office. Thirty-year industry veteran James Whiffen has been named a regional vice president and will work out of Gill's new Boston, Mass., office. Michael Halstead has also joined The Gill Group’s Contract division as a regional vice president and is based in the company’s new Montana office, which covers the western region of the United States. In addition, Jerry Hinrichs has joined the firm as a senior project manager based in Gill’s new Chicago office. Whiffen, Halstead and Hinrichs were all hired from U.S. Foodservice’s now-shuttered Contract Design division.
