ABC Announces Suppliers Of The Year
The Allied Buying Corp. dealer buying group recognized its 2004 Suppliers of the Year during its recent fall conference, which was held in San Antonio from Oct. 27 through 30.
Honored as the group’s Tabletop Supplier of the Year was Service Ideas. The Tabletop runner-up was Hollowick.
The winner of ABC’s Supplier of the Year award in the supplies category was TableCraft Products. Runners-up in this category were The Vollrath Co., Cambro Mfg. and American Metalcraft.
Recognized as the Light Equipment Supplier of the Year was Waring Products. Cadco was ABC’s runner-up in this category.
Manitowoc Refrigeration Group (Kolpak and McCall) was honored as the Heavy Equipment Supplier of the Year. The runner-up was Pitco-Magikitch’n.
In addition to announcing its Suppliers of the Year, ABC also recognized Karen Pierce of Libbey as its Supplier Sales Executive of the Year.
During the conference, as well, ABC President Allan Keck of R.W. Smith & Co. handed the group’s leadership to its incoming president, Frank Spinelli of Dykes Restaurant Supply.
