T&S Founder Passes
George Theisen, founder of Traveler’s Rest, S.C.-based T&S Brass And Bronze Works, has passed away at the age of 78.
Theisen founded the firm in December 1947 and served as its president and CEO until 1992. He is survived by his wife, Joan, five children and 13 grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorial donations be sent to the George I. Theisen North Greenville Family YMCA, P.O. Box 187, Travelers Rest, SC 29690. Alternatively, donations may be sent to the George I. Theisen Scholarship Fund at Greenville Tech Foundation, P.O. Box 5616, Greenville, SC 29606.
