IDC Forms China Venture
Hanover, Md.-based International Dispensing Corp. (IDC), a maker of both permanent and disposable dispensing products for the foodservice industry, has announced that it plans to enter the Chinese market through a partnership with Sino Link.
Sino Link is a privately held firm based in Hong Kong with ventures in several distinct business sectors.
Under the proposed agreement, the companies would partner to form International Dispensing China (ID China), which will market IDC’s U.S.-made Fresh Flow taps through Sino Link’s offices in five Chinese cities.
According to IDC, the final terms of the agreement between the two companies are under negotiation and subject to approval by the each company’s board of directors. IDC announced, however, that two Chinese food companies are already in the process of testing the Fresh Flow system and that IDC and ID China are “already working together on these and other initiatives in anticipation of a completed agreement.”
