Boelter Opens Hospitality Arm

The Boelter Cos. announced the formation of Boelter Hospitality, a new branch of the organization that will focus on lodging and healthcare markets in Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Boelter Hospitality will provide clients in these segments with paper products, janitorial supplies and guest room amenities but it will not sell equipment to them, which will remain under the auspices of Boelter’s E&S dealer arm.

The new company is based in The Boelter Cos.’ Milwaukee headquarters, and will leverage the organization’s existing inventory and distribution infrastructure. Andy Ahrens, a long-time veteran of the hospitality supply industry, heads this new company.

“We see an opportunity for greater growth and penetration of existing healthcare and lodging accounts, which will require expertise specific to those markets,” said Eric Boelter, president of The Boelter Cos. “Andy Ahrens brings that knowledge to Boelter.
