NRAEF Announces Food Safety Education Month Theme
The National Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation announced that this year’s Food Safety Education Month will be themed “Keep Hands Clean with Good Hygiene.”
The month-long campaign, scheduled for September, will promote proper handwashing in the foodservice industry and awareness of the industry’s commitment to food safety.
As part of the program, NRAEF’s International Food Safety Council will produce a training and promotion guide to help industry professionals participate in the program. The guide, available in May, will be located at http://www.nraef.org/nfsem. It will contain weekly training activities, promotional materials and a back-of-the-house poster.
