Delta Canceling On-Board Meal Sales

Delta Airlines will cease selling meals on its main flights as of April 3. The airline began selling on-board meals in October 2003.

The decision covers more than 400 flights daily. According to reports, the program has not met the carrier’s expectations.

Delta’s low-cost carrier, Song, will continue its buy on-board program, expanding the offering in May to approximately 200 flights.
