NRA Announces Final Kitchen Innovations Exhibitors

The National Restaurant Association announced the final two recipients in its Kitchen Innovations 2005 Awards program.

The program seeks to recognize the most innovative products in the foodservice industry, as judged by an independent panel of foodservice consultants and multi-unit operators.

The final two honorees are Micros Systems, for its Micros Kitchen Display System, which synchronizes menu production for kitchen efficiency and food quality; and Zurn Plumbing Products, for its Zurn Z1192, an appliance that prevents grease from passing into commercial piping systems.

Award recipients will display the products in the Kitchen Innovations Pavilion at the upcoming NRA Show. The Pavilion will feature a display of 19 products from 18 manufacturers.

Dealers who visit the Pavilion the morning of Saturday, May 21, will have the opportunity to vote on the most innovative product on display. The product drawing the highest marks will receive FE&S’ inaugural Dealer’s Choice Award, which will be presented that evening during the publication’s awards gala.
