Enodis, Halton Group Ally
Enodis and Halton Group formed the High Performance Kitchen Alliance, a partnership dedicated to developing kitchens that optimize “the interaction between people, work methods, technology and the environment.”
According to the companies, the alliance will approach kitchen design and operation holistically. This method, the companies claim, will result in operations with higher energy efficiency, greater flexibility, optimized labor requirements and more comfortable work environments.
The partnership’s initial efforts will focus on garnering input on kitchen performance and innovation from operators, consultants, food manufacturers and other industry members.
The alliance stems from Enodis’ sale of Vent Master to Halton Group earlier this year. Under the terms of the transaction, the companies agreed to form a strategic alliance covering supply and development agreements, as well as commercial cooperation.
