FEDA Releases Technology Survey

FEDA published the results of its latest Technology Survey in the May 9 FEDA First Thing newsletter.

When asked about automatically loading up-to-date pricing into their accounting systems and Autoquotes automatically entering quotes into their order entry and PO systems, more than 70% of the 73 responding dealers said the idea is “appealing” or “very appealing.”

Among those surveyed, however, there are nearly 40 different accounting systems in use, each requiring a separate “bridge” program to connect their accounting software to an online network.
