NESA Honors Members, Suppliers
NESA, the National Equipment and Supply Association, presented its 2004 awards during its annual conference at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.
NESA’s 2004 Dealer of the Year was S.A.M.’s Restaurant Equipment and Supplies, Norristown, Pa. S.A.M.’s increased its purchases of NESA suppliers by 22% during the year.
The organization’s Distributor of the Year was IHF of Hickory, N.C. IHF’s volume through NESA increased by more than 50% during the year.
Advantage Equipment/Chef Toys, Irving, Calif., received the New Dealer of the Year Award for exceeding its first-year goal by 28%.
In addition to honoring members, the buying group also recognized its supplier award winners. True Manufacturing was selected the Overall Supplier of the Year.
In the Smallwares category, Carlisle FoodService Products was selected as the group’s outstanding supplier. Tablecraft received the award in the tabletop category, APW/Wyott in the light equipment category; and Frymaster/Dean in the heavy equipment category.
