ABC Names Honorees
Allied Buying Corp announced a series of award winners during its annual conference, held last month in Phoenix.
Bargreen-Ellingson, Tacoma, Wash.; The Restaurant Source, Denver; and Penn Fixture and Supply, Pittsburgh, were all recognized with the Outstanding Supplier Support Award.
ABC presented The Volume Growth Awards to R.W. Smith & Co., San Diego; Gill Marketing Co., Phoenix; and Bolton & Hay Co. Des Moines, Iowa.
The Boelter Companies, Milwaukee; Birmingham Restaurant Supply (Bresco), Birmingham, Ala.; and Golden Light Equipment Co., Amarillo, Texas, all received Volume Growth Awards of Merit.
In addition to honoring its members, ABC also recognized some of its suppliers during the conference. Churchill China, Globe Food Equipment and Supreme Meal were all honored with Outstanding Sales Achievement Awards.
Supplier Awards of Merit for Sales Effort were given to Robot Coupe USA, Waring Commercial Products and United Receptacle.
During the conference ABC also paid tribute to Robert Halpern, chairman of TriMark USA, upon his retirement.
