Raising Cane’s Elevates Wood to Top Spot

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers named Kathleen Wood president and chief operating officer of the 27-unit chain with restaurants in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, and franchise locations in Ohio and Colorado.

Wood will work with Raising Cane's founder and CEO Todd Graves to grow the business through both company-owned and franchise locations.

A 30-year veteran of the foodservice industry, Wood has worked with organizations such as McDonald's, Taco Bell, TGI Friday's, MasterCard and the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. In 1996, she co-founded Elliot Solutions, a consulting firm for growing and emerging hospitality organizations. She has served on many industry-related boards including the Women's Foodservice Forum and Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers.
