DI Names Two Manufacturing Execs
DI Foodservice Cos. promoted Chuck Stewart and Glen Nelson to senior leadership positions in the organization’s manufacturing operations.
The company appointed Nelson to the newly created post of vice president of DI Manufacturing Services. He will report to DIFC President Bill Strenglis. In his new post, Nelson will oversee all strategic manufacturing initiatives, including capacity planning, cost reductions and product costing across the DIFC manufacturing platform for the company’s Arizona, Michigan and Mississippi facilities. Nelson previously served as vice president and general manager of Jackson Manufacturing.
Taking over that role is Stewart. As the new vice president/general manager of Jackson Manufacturing, which encompasses DIFC’s factory in Jackson, Miss., he will oversee the manufacturing, engineering, field services/parts and quality departments. Stewart, who previously served as senior director of manufacturing in Jackson, will report directly to Strenglis, as well.
