FRS Shifting Branches

Florence, S.C.-based Foodservice Resources & Solutions (FRS) announced that it is shutting down its Hilton Head Island, S.C., location in favor of a new branch in Columbia, S.C.

According to the FEDA First Thing newsletter, The Hilton Head office closed its doors on July 20, and the new location will begin operations sometime in late August.

The change in locations was made because there is greater opportunity in Columbia, said FRS President Don Ball.

“We had an opportunity to move an existing store to a significantly larger market with much greater potential. In addition, there are many reasons why having a Columbia location is more synergistic with our overall current marketing and operational plans than having one in Hilton Head,” he said.
