FE&S Names New Associate Editor
Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) has announced that Amelia Levin is the publication’s new associate editor.
Levin’s previous journalism experience includes time as a reporter and editor for City News Service, the 115-year-old local news wire service and training ground for budding journalists where Chicago columnist Mike Royko, author Kurt Vonnegut, and investigative reporter Seymour Hersh got their start. The Chicago Tribune bought the independently owned City News Bureau six years ago, and shut it down on Dec. 31, 2005.
“Amelia’s enthusiasm and determination will blend nicely with the fast-paced nature of the foodservice industry,” said Joseph Carbonara, FE&S’ editor in chief. “Her thorough and energetic approach makes her a welcome addition to our team.”
