Concept Services Named Dealer of the Year
Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) has named Concept Services its Dealer of the Year for 2006. The Austin, Texas-based dealership will receive the award during FE&S’ annual Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards Gala, which takes place May 20 at Chicago’s Peninsula Hotel.
“Concept Services has emerged an elite dealership thanks to a culture and structure that is truly unique to our industry,” said Maureen Slocum, FE&S publisher. “As such, their story is unlike any other we have shared with the industry, because how much business they do is not as important as how Concept Services does it.”
Hal Schroeder, president of Concept Services, will accept the award on behalf of the dealership. A long-time member of the foodservice industry, Schroeder founded Concept Services in the mid ‘80s after previously working for a Nebraska-based dealership. Today, it is widely recognized as one of the industry’s bigger players specializing in serving larger, multi-unit chain operators.
In addition to Concept Services, during the May 20 Awards Gala, FE&S will recognize a dealer, consultant, service agent and manufacturers’ rep with the magazine’s annual Top Achiever Awards. This honor goes to an individual from each of these segments who has helped build a market-leading organization that is responsive to customer needs.
Also during its Industry Awards Gala, FE&S will recognize its 2006 Hall of Fame Award recipient, which honors an individual who has spent the better part of their career building a market-leading company and shaping the modern distribution channel by making contributions to the industry at-large.
FE&S will announce the winners in a subsequent edition of FlashNews. For more information about FE&S’ annual Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards Gala, please call Maureen Slocum at 0 or send an e-mail to .
