Del Taco Sold to Captain D’s Parent

Sagittarius Brands, the parent company of Nashville, Tenn.-based Captain D’s, signed an agreement to acquire California-based Del Taco. The transaction, which will expand Sagittarius Brands by more than 1,000 units across the nation, should be completed within 60 days.

Del Taco has 60 franchise development agreements in place to open 338 new restaurants over the next five years. Currently, Captain D’s operates more than 600 restaurants in the United States, the Caribbean, and military bases around the world.
