MAFSI Reports Increases in E&S Sales

According to the Business Barometer from The Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry, equipment sales for the 2005 fourth quarter increased 4 percent and supplies sales increased 3.9 percent.

Tabletop and furnishing sales were both up 3.1 percent and overall sales increased 3.8 percent. Sales for the first quarter of 2006 were up 3.3 percent compared to the same period last year. For the yearly outlook, MAFSI predicts a 5.4 percent increase in overall sales.
