IFMA Announced Winners of Silver Plate Awards
The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association announced the winners of the 2006 Silver Plate Awards.
The awards recognize individuals from the following categories:
- Hotels and Lodging: Elizabeth Blau, restaurant consultant, Wynn Las Vegas
- Chain Fast Service: Craig Culver, chief executive officer and co-founder, Culver Franchising System Inc., Prairie du Sac, Wis.
- Business and Industry: Ron Ehrhardt, director of food services, Prudential Financial, Newark, N.J.
- Elementary and Secondary Schools: Beverly Girard, director of food and nutrition services, The School Board of Sarasota County, Fla.
- Chain Full Service: David Goronkin, president and chief executive officer, Famous Dave’s of America, Minnetonka, Minn.
- Independent Restaurants: Bob Kinkead, chef and owner, Kindkead’s and Colvin Run Tavern, Washington, D.C.
