Chain Operating Report

California Pizza Kitchen, IHOP and other chains release financial information.

• California Pizza Kitchen reported revenues increased 17.6 percent to $129.7 million and same-store sales increased 6.4 percent for the first quarter ending April 2.
• IHOP Corp. reported systemwide, same-store sales increased 5.1 percent for the first quarter ending March 31. 
• McDonald’s announced global comparable sales rose 5.2 percent and U.S. comparable sales rose 6.6 percent for the first quarter ending in late March. Europe’s sales were up 2.0 percent.
• Pizza Inn comparable sales rose 1.1 percent for the first quarter ending March 26.
