FE&S Dealer of the Year & Industry Awards
Foodservice industry leaders came together on May 20 to celebrate FE&S' 25th annual Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards. The black-tie gala was held at Chicago's renowned Peninsula Hotel, where attendees enjoyed an outdoor cocktail reception followed by an elegant dinner featuring contemporary American cuisine. The party continued after dinner with the Peninsula's famous chocolate buffet and live entertainment.

Accepting the 2006 Dealer of the Year award was Hal Schroeder, representing Concept Services, headquartered in Austin, Texas.

The Top Achiever award recipients, recognizing the dealer, consultant, manufacturer rep, and service agency segments, were presented to the employee owners of R.W. Smith & Co., a San Diego-based dealership, accepted by President Allan Keck; Mark Godward, consultant, of Strategic Restaurant Engineering; Jim Zink, manufacturer’s rep, of Zink Associates; and Roger Kauffman, service agent, of EMR. The DSR of the Year award was presented to Michael Gold, of Edward Don & Co.
The Facility Design Project of the Year award was awarded to Rams Head Dining Center at the University of North Carolina.
